A confirmation will be sendt to the e-mail adresse posted in the registration as a link to a pdf document. You can also download the confirmation by logging on your profile on our website.

Print a copy of the document an bring it when you pick up your packet. The confirmation must be signed.

Gymnasskolan, Strömstad

Riders ride at their own risk.

Members of the Norwegian Social Security System (under the age of 70) must have a valid annual or one-day license. One-day license fee: NOK200,-

We encourage foreigners and non-members to contact their domestic Cycling Association for international license.

Riders gather at "Kärleksudden" x minutes before given starting time. Riders will be guided in waves to the point of start. Please pay attention to opposing traffic and use the right lane.
All riders must pass a registration mat to activate the chip and be sure that the race result will be correct. The chip can be tested when you pick up your race packet.

Riders start at 5 minutes intervals in waves of approximately 250 riders.

Luggage/clothing

Bags can be dropped at "Gymnasskolan". At the point of start you can leave your clothing in couloured sacks placed on each side of the startarea. Remember to label your luggage with your name! You will find luggage tags in your race packet.

In the finishing area there will be a defined area where you can retrieve your luggage.

In the finishing area:

Open-air facilities for showering (hot water) and changing
Free warm meal to all riders
Kiosk and restaurants
Bike wash
Guarded bike parking
Expo offering a wide variety of bikes, clothing, helmets, nutrition, etc.

Pins and diplomas

All riders who finishes the race can collect pin and diploma in the finishing area (at the big scene on Place d'Armes).
You can also print your diploma from our website.

There is a time limit based on the winners result plus 50%. Participants finishing within this limit will have this marked on the diploma.

Prizes

Grenserittets crystal glass (small) to the top 25 prosent in each age group.
Grenserittets crystal glass (big) to the top 3 in each age group.

Spezial prizes to:

The first rider who reaches a fixed point (the top of "Skottet" at Berby).
The first 15 men who crosses the finishing line.
The first 6 women who crosses the finishing line.
Riders who has finished the race 10 times.

Prize ceremony

Prize ceremony approx. at 1400 hrs at the big scene at Place d'Armes. The excact time will be announced by the speaker.

Transportation

Transportation can be booked in advance at the time of registration or can be re-ordered by making changes to your registration up until 20th of July. Price NOK150,-.
You can also purchase a ticket on spot at the price of NOK200,-.
If you need to change the choosen time of departure to racestart, please contact us by using the following e-mail: transport@grenserittet.com at the latest 15th of July.
